Dear friends and family,

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Daphanie Kennedy and over the last 4 years I have put up a tremendous fight against cancer. In 2014 at the age of 28, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and since then I have dealt with reoccurances of cancer in multipule places in my body. The lateset diagnosis was the hardest one to recieve from my oncologist - I was told that the cancer has spread to both my brain and my spinal fluid (also known as (Leptomeningal Carcinomatosis). With this recent diagnosis, I was given weeks to months to spend time with my family, friends, and my 4 year old daughter.

I am writing this letter to reach out to you all because I am not ready to stop fighting. I'm humbly approaching my friends, family and those who are willing and able to financially contribute to funding my medical expenses. My hope is to facilitate enough contribution to expedite my arrival to the Cancer Treatment Center of America. The doctors at the CTCA are willing and ready to move up the time/date to start treatment so, any funding possible would definately be appreciated. I've been fighting so hard for so long and with my athletic background it's just not in me to give up. With help from you all and God I believe I can survive and overcome this adversity.
