Active Louisville Kids Marshall Fire Assistance

As a close friend of the owner of Active Louisville Kids, I am facilitating a GoFundMe to directly help those in our community that have lost everything.

Active Louisville Kids provides a high-quality, healthy, safe, and fun learning environment for children. We know that children learn through active exploration. Our teachers encourage children to explore their environment; to experiment and discover solutions through manipulating age-appropriate materials and projects. Our goal is happy children having fun and staying safe while learning and growing.

Heartbreakingly, our neighbors/friends/those in our community have been directly affected by the Marshall Fire that ripped through our neighborhoods last week – many no longer have a safe and fun home environment. We are here to support our community and, sadly, know multiple families who have lost everything. We, along with the community's help, did what we could through the weekend by acting as a resource for people who needed crucial supplies like clothing, food, toiletries, and blankets.

Now we need your help to do more.

Through being a fire relief center, we met and gathered contact information for multiple families who said that while the hard goods donations are appreciated, what they really need is money to source specific needs. Their lists are endless. We are asking for your help to give a piece of home back to each of these families.

All donations will go directly to the families in our community that has lost their homes that we at Active know personally.

So many are asking how they can help and this is a direct way you can donate to our neighbors who have lost everything. Together, we can help them begin to rebuild and recover from this heartbreaking tragedy.
