<div>Over the last week, our community has been shaken by the heartbreaking loss of Henry “Harry” Shields, who tragically lost his battle with mental health at just 23 years old. Less than a third of his life lived — and far too soon for a young man who should still be here with us today.

<div>This tragedy isn’t just a “moment.” It’s a wake-up call. Harry’s passing is a devastating reminder that so many men are struggling in silence. The stigma, the pressure, the fear of opening up — it’s costing lives. And it has to change.

<div>We want to come together as a community to support Harry’s family during an unimaginably difficult time. Our goal is to help lift the financial burden that comes with funeral costs, contribute towards his headstone, and—if we can—fund two memorial benches. These benches will stand as places of reflection, remembrance, and awareness. Spaces to encourage conversation, connection, and hope.

<div>We are organising a charity football match and community fun day to honour Harry’s memory and to raise awareness around men’s mental health and suicide prevention.
