Donation in Honor of Lynnley Rose

Our baby girl Lynnley Rose Hummer was unfortunately born "sleeping" on the morning of September 29th, 2017. She was such a beautiful and perfect little thing. We aren't sure what exactly happen but that her tiny heart stopped beating at some point on September 28th. It was 4 days before we were supposed to deliver her. At birth she measured 7lbs 1 oz and was 19.5" long.
We were lucky enough to be at a hospital that had a "Cuddle Cot" which provided us extra time with our little girl to say goodbye. Thanks to this machine (pictured below) we were able to be with our little light for 3 days.
During our stay and after looking in to these machines a bit more we realized how rare it is for a facility to have a Cuddle Cot on hand for situations like ours. During the final night of our stay the Cuddle Cot we were using began to have issues maintaining proper temperature. The incredible staff that took care of our family was quick to act and were able to resolve the issue, but in the process we learned that they do not have a back-up machine. The machine we were using was donated by parents who had also experienced the same type of loss as us. We may never meet that family but words could never express the gratitude we feel from their generous gift. They gave us moments and memories that are helping to heal our broken hearts.
While we can never truly thank them for that, we can pay it forward and our goal is to raise enough money to purchase a back-up machine and donate it to the hospital in Lynnley Rose Hummer's name so that one day she can bring that same peace to another grieving family.
