<div>The purpose of this fund raising action is to help my neighbor village, Chiva, which has been devastated by the flood.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is what happened in the past days: Amidst record breaking rain (in many areas a year's worth of rain falling in 24 hours), a river overflowed and took the small villages around Valencia by surprise. Without any warning, roads, parking lots and ground floor apartments were rapidly flooded with water and mud, trapping and killing many. There are countless people with limited resources with small businesses, lost to the floods. They still say there are dozens/hundreds of people trapped (especially in parking lots underground), a lack of fresh water and access to food in the towns surrounding the city, sanitation and risk of infection will become massive issues. And more rain is expected soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The central government is still struggling to centralize recovery efforts, but one way to directly support those affected is through the local authorities and town halls. Everyone is helping wherever they can, but they lack basic resources like water, food, cleaning and disinfection supplies, and specialized equipment to clean. But most importantly, they need funds in order to rebuild the destroyed houses, schools and infrastructure.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds will be directly donated to the official bank account of the Chiva's town hall. With this money it will be possible to support buying the necessary basice supplies to support the village getting little by little back to normal.

<div>Thank you very much

</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>

<div>Muchisimas gracias,
