<div>In November 2023, my world changed when I was diagnosed with Charcot arthropathy, a rare and severe condition that caused the progressive destruction and eventual loss of the bone in my ankle. Over the past few months, I’ve undergone intense medical treatment to prepare me for a critical reconstructive surgery—Panastragalodesis—which could finally give me the chance to walk again and live without constant pain.

<div>This surgery involves the fusion of bones in my foot and ankle using a 40cm rod, a metal plate, and multiple screws. It’s a highly specialized procedure, and after consulting with six different orthopedic specialists, only one was found to have the expertise needed to perform it. Without this surgery, I risk permanent disability.

Sin esta cirugía, me arriesgo a sufrir una discapacidad permanente.

<div>I had a surgery date set for May 19, 2025, but I was forced to cancel it due to lack of funds. That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe—because I can’t do this alone.
