CAN International (CAN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to help youths, who immigrated to the United States when they were teenagers; our programs help them to adjust to their new home in the United States. 

Founded in 2016 CAN has mentored over 40 students via our flagship CAN mentoring program (CANership) and provided internships. The mentees all attend Title I schools.

In 2023, we challenge ourselves to grow our service capacity by seeking $3,000 funding for our CANership. It will provide a cash stipend for 12 mentees for the Spring 2023 program. In addition, we are seeking $2,000 to establish a CT Scholars Program to honor CT's legacy and award an exceptional John Dewey High School senior who demonstrates financial need, excellent academic performance and active civic engagement.
