<div>CAN International (CAN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to help youths, who immigrated to the United States when they were teenagers; our programs help them to adjust to their new home in the United States.

<div>Founded in 2016 CAN has mentored over 40 students via our flagship CAN mentoring program (CANership) and provided internships. The mentees all attend Title I schools.

<div>In 2023, we challenge ourselves to grow our service capacity by seeking $3,000 funding for our CANership. It will provide a cash stipend for 12 mentees for the Spring 2023 program. In addition, we are seeking $2,000 to establish a CT Scholars Program to honor CT's legacy and award an exceptional John Dewey High School senior who demonstrates financial need, excellent academic performance and active civic engagement.
