Gary is currently undergoing treatments in the form of chemotherapy and eventually a stem cell transplant for a type of blood cancer, multiple myeloma.
Gary is a musician, songwriter, and producer from Bay Bulls, Newfoundland. His most famous work is likely producing the debut album for The Irish Descendants - Misty Morning Shore. He has also produced such bands as The Masterless Men (Breakin' New Ground), The Ennis Sisters (Red Is The Rose), and Shanneygannock (The Long Haul).
As well as producing, Gary has wrote some of the most well known songs heard around Newfoundland, such as:

Christmas In The Harbour

Gary has received the USA Gabriel Award (Excellence in Entertainment Programming) as executive producer of a one half hour and one hour network
special by the Irish Descendants.
Alongside our fundraiser for Gary on September 30th, we have set this GoFundMe page up to accept any donations from anyone who is unable to attend. All donations will be given directly to Gary to help his medical expenses.
