This Summer from May to August, while I’m tackling chemotherapy for breast cancer, my fundraising-force will be stepping up to tackle a different monthly challenge. While I can’t make every challenge, I’m determined to donate. Along with my support squad our goal is to raise awareness and funds for 3 great charities - Breast Cancer Ireland, The Irish Cancer Society and ARC Cancer Support.
They represent a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. All are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through their incredible support services and research.
So what challenge are you ready to do for Dee?
**NOVEMBER CHALLENGE** In aid of the Mater foundation - 3000 squats in November.
· May’s challenge for BREAST CANCER IRELAND - A DIP A DAY FOR MAY. (Valiantly taken on single-handedly by Rhona Carton, thank you!)
· June’s challenge: for BREAST CANCER IRELAND – 100K in 30 DAYS.
· July’s challenge: for THE IRISH CANCER SOCIETY– TAKE A 'SPIN', 500K or 1000K (your choice!)
· August’s challenge: for ARC CANCER SUPPORT CENTRES – RUN, ROW, Or WALK 100KM.
I’ll be doing my best to take part in the challenges along the way. Whether you’re joining in the challenges or donating, we appreciate your amazing support.
