Like many women, I’ve experienced rides where something just didn’t feel right. That constant tension, checking the route, watching the mirrors, texting your location to friends, shouldn’t be a normal part of getting from point A to point B. Transportation should feel simple, respectful, and stress-free. That’s why I created Vaya. Vaya is a female-centered and inclusive rideshare platform designed to prioritize comfort, community, and peace of mind. Our goal is to create an environment where riders can feel more at ease and drivers can feel respected and supported. This isn’t just another rideshare app. Vaya is about changing the experience of transportation, especially for women, students, young professionals, and anyone who wants a more comfortable ride. So far, I’ve formed the official LLC, secured the trademark, opened the business bank account, built the Android version of the app, and reached over 10,000 supporters on social media. Now, I’m preparing for our first official launch, starting in Jacksonville.
