<div>Tina is a loving mother, and a proud grandma to five beautiful grandkids. She has spent her entire life giving her love, strength, and time to everyone around her — never asking for anything in return. Now she needs us more than ever.

<div>At just 52 years old, Tina has been diagnosed with an aggressive lung cancer that has spread to her brain and lymph nodes. She has endured five rounds of radiation to her brain and is currently undergoing chemotherapy for her lungs — treatments every three weeks for twelve weeks. Despite all of this, she still worries more about her family than herself.

<div>Tina has worked at Kroger for 25 years, always showing up for her co-workers and customers with a smile. But because of her illness, she can no longer work — and due to paperwork errors, her medical leave and paychecks are now uncertain (it’s being correct, but this will delay much needed income). This has added financial stress on top of the pain, exhaustion, and fear she already faces daily.

<div>She’s in constant pain, her joints ache, she’s exhausted, and despite everything, she keeps trying to stay strong for her kids and grandkids.

<div>Many of you know the bond Tina and (my mother) Maria share. They’ve been inseparable since birth, worked side by side for nearly 30 years, and faced heartbreak together, losing their sister at 19 and their brother at 26. This fight brings back all that pain — but it also makes every moment they have together even more precious.

<div>Science proves that a body fighting cancer heals better when there’s less stress and worry. Right now, Tina’s biggest worry is not about herself — it’s about how to pay the bills, keep her home running, and make sure her family is okay.

<div>I’m asking from the bottom of my heart: please help ease that burden. Every dollar you give will go directly to Tina’s medical expenses, treatment costs, household bills, and basic daily needs.
