Help Me Ignite a Men's Mental Health Movement

Hi everyone,
I'm launching TALK TO YOUR MATES, a new organization dedicated to breaking the silence around men’s mental health and breaking down financial barriers to treatment. Too many men struggle alone, facing stigma, shame, financial hurdles, or simply a lack of resources to turn to. I believe it’s time for change—and I need your help to make it happen.
TALK TO YOUR MATES exists to spark a men's mental health movement, driven by candid conversations, accessible resources, and targeted funding for support services.
With a call to Look Up…Team Up…and Open Up…TALK TO YOUR MATES seeks to assist men in their own mental health journeys. Look Up through awareness of our own and other’s struggles…Team Up through the understanding there is strength in community and we need each other…and Open Up through honest and real conversations of where we are in our journeys.
Right now, I'm in the early stages. The funds I raise here will go directly toward:
- Formation of an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Creating a team staffed by professionals and volunteers
- Building online and social media platforms that connect to resources and funding channels
- Spreading awareness through campaigns and branding that challenge outdated stereotypes
Every dollar counts.
The statistics are stark: men are less likely to seek help, and suicide rates among men are disproportionately high. But I know this can change with the right support system in place because I myself have been there. With your contribution, we can turn this vision into reality and save lives—one conversation at a time.
