Hi everyone! My name is Oluwole Olugbamila, and I’m grateful to be a contender in the Kappa Kappa Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s “Man of the Year” Pageant at UNC Charlotte.
As part of this pageant, I’ve chosen to raise awareness and funds for Rise Against Hunger Inc., an organization whose mission deeply aligns with my heart for service. Their goal to end hunger and uplift communities represents more than charity—it’s compassion in action.
I chose this cause because I believe that service is one of the purest forms of leadership. Rise Against Hunger feeds not only bodies but also restores hope, reminding us that God calls us to love and serve others selflessly. Supporting them is my way of turning faith into action and using this platform to make an impact that lasts beyond myself.
Your contribution will help:
- Provide life-sustaining meals to those in need.
- Empower families and communities through sustainable education and development programs.
Every act of giving—whether through a donation or sharing this campaign—helps bring us closer to a world where no one goes to bed hungry.
Thank you for supporting this mission of faith, love, and service. Your kindness truly makes a difference.
