At Hope Church, we're privileged to live among and support a range of people from diverse backgrounds, facing different challenges and situations. Richard (name changed for personal and security reasons) is a dedicated member of our church, who brings us a lot of joy and encouragement.

Richard is from South Sudan, an area deeply affected by poverty and conflict, intensifying as time has gone on. This has directly impacted his family, who have been forced to seek refuge in Kenya. Separated by disaster, Richard's family depend on him to provide for their needs. However, he himself has very little with which to support himself and them.

As a church, we are passionate about offering practical support in any way we can, and have created this gofundme campaign as a way to coordinate our giving, but also open up the opportunity for others to support him. If you feel able to donate in any way, please join us in contributing towards the needs of Richard and his family.

Once we have completed the fundraiser, the goal is to withdraw the funds and give them directly to Richard, who will use transfer it to his family in Kenya for use as they see fit for their needs, such as food, school supplies for his children, and other essential non-food supplies.
