<div>Hello,
</div>
<div>I am raising funds for our dad who today was tragically hit by a car whilst sending off the Newcastle Knights to their grand final day.
</div>
<div>Dave was caring for both his granddaughters in Wallsend when he pushed the girls out of the way and was struck by a car. He has just undergone 8 hours ins surgery with multiple fractures in both legs. Both girls are staying at the John Hunter tonight in good spirits!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many people in the community and Wallsend are asking us how they can show their support so I am doing my best to direct that energy towards him from afar.
</div>
<div>We are raising money to help ease the financial burden of the family during this heartbreaking time to help with travel, accomodation, meals and getting Dad back on his feet.

<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div>Any small donation to support his family is very much appreciated.
</div>
<div>Thoughts are with the other families struggling today ❤️
