Hi everyone, our names are You-Yan Wang & Matthew Walsh, we are the co-captains of the Buckingham Browne & Nichols Boys Varsity Rowing team (both '26), and we will be competing in the upcoming Boston Triathlon (August 17th) in the Sprint and Olympic Triathlon events, respectively! Wether it be the tight-knit community we've been apart of, or the thrilling races we've competed in, we both have greatly cherished the opportunity to learn to row on the Charles River throughout our time in high school. In spirit of this gratitude, as part of our mission we are looking to raise $1,000 for a charitable donation to CRI (Community Rowing Inc. ) which is located just up the Charles from our school boathouse! Specifically, donations will go towards the "Para & Adaptive Rowing" and "Row Boston Scholars" programs, both aimed at extending the opportunity to learn to row to Boston Youth from various backgrounds. All donations are appreciated!
