Aid in Stacey's Path to Stability and Recovery

Hello Everyone, it's Stacey here. For those who may not know me, I am a L.A. based Dance Educator/Choreographer. It has taken a lot for me to get here to this platform, but I feel at this point, I have to completely step out on faith and reach out for help due to the current situation.

For those that don't know, my life took a deep dive after I lost my mother last year in March of 2023. I've spent the past year trying to pick up the pieces, but things unfortunately went on a downward spiral. Back in April of 2024, I was hospitalized for over a week and diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure( near fatal at the time). Shortly after my diagnosis, I was displaced from my place of residency at the beginning of June. Lastly( as if things couldn't go further), the transmission on my SUV went out in the midst of me bouncing around. I have not only been homeless, but also without transportation since the beginning of June. I've roughed it out for as long as I could( paying for motel rooms, food, etc, ) but I have reached a critical point to where all of my resources are exhausted. And yes, I have tried applying for local services through DPSS and was denied in each arena( which means no medical coverage or food assistance).

I know life is hitting everyone right now, so I didn't want to set some obscene amount. Whatever you can spare, will be greatly appreciated. All funds will allow me to sustain while finishing up a current project( paying for a room, food, medication coverage, etc) and afterwards, with what's left, either extending my stay here in California(hopefully being able to put a down payment on a small apartment) or potentially moving to the Midwest if things just don't work out here. If you would prefer to give any fiscal help to me directly, I do have Cash app, Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal, if anyone prefers those methods.

I appreciate all of the love and support that I have received thus far. I do not take any of this lightly or for granted. I'm just simply trying to be okay.

***UPDATE*** My heartfelt thanks to any and all who have donated! Thanks to you this far, I was able to sustain a motel room, complete a major summer project, and I got my SUV back from the shop! It has truly been the help of my community and the grace of God that has kept me. I am still pushing towards the goal. The remaining goal, will help towards securing permanent housing! Anything and everything helps! Again, thank you all!
