As many of you know, Sheila Michaud's home burnt down completely flat on August 16. They are safe and made it out, but lost everything they have ever owned and worked so hard for many years to get, as well as sentimental things they cannot get back. If anyone knows Sheila, she has and would give the shirt off her back to anybody who needed help. She has helped me out many times myself.

The area we live in couldn't qualify for house insurance, and she has to start all over on her own. Both she and her husband, Paul Barton, are retired after many years of hard work and dedication to their jobs. You may know Sheila from the old corner store in Howland, where she worked for over 10 years, and Paul from JSI in Milo. Both amazing people.

They are in need of help to get a new home to live in before winter. Any donation, big or small, helps.
