<div>As part of my journey to Eagle Scout, <strong>I will be building a Native Pollinator Garden at the El Sereno Community Garden in Los Angeles.</strong>
</div>
<div>This project will:

<div>- Replace invasive weeds with California native plants
</div>
<div>- Provide food &amp; habitat for local pollinators like butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees
</div>
<div>- Beautify the garden for community members
</div>
<div>- Engage community on sustainable gardening and biodiversity
</div>

<div><strong>Why It Matters</strong>
</div>
<div>Pollinators are vital to our ecosystem, but their habitats are shrinking. By planting California natives such as poppies, lupine, and manzanita, this project will:

<div>- Improve biodiversity in the garden
</div>
<div>- Support pollination of fruits &amp; vegetables grown by families in the community garden
</div>
<div>- Create an educational space for the community
</div>
