My name is Kitt and my girlfriend Bee and I are a long-distance queer, trans couple trying to save up so I can move in with her towards the end of summer when her lease ends. We have to find a new place because her current apartment keeps raising rent and is no longer affordable for us. I am currently staying with family a state away from her because I am disabled and unable to work. We want to move me down there to her because the town and state I live in currently is unsafe for me as a disabled trans person, especially with my abuser still living in the same small town as me as well. A bad chronic fatigue disorder flare has left me unable to sell my art for funds, and I have had to rely on Bee to help me with emergency funds while I try to scrape by recently. I am currently trying to file for government assistance for help but not getting any luck so far while waiting.

These funds would be used for essentials, and the rest will be saved up to be put towards a down payment because Bee is currently footing any and all costs to save up money for a place. We have until September to save and while that still does give us time, it’s not as much time as we would like to have to save of course, especially when I am unable to save currently and have to use funds for my meds and other health and self essentials.
