<div>Hi Everyone:) my name is Jordyn, a 34 year old mom to a beautiful four year old boy, Luca, currently navigating being hotel homeless. Everyone who knows me would neither expect nor believe my reality because of the mask I’ve perfected and worn for three decades. But it is time to tell my story in hopes it helps my baby and maybe touches others out there who think they have to suffer alone.

<div>I have been the victim of narcissistic abuse my entire life from my mother. Two months ago, when I finally had the courage to leave the abuse (consisted of my mom: keeping me in, telling me when I could eat etc), I knew my only chance at surviving was to start over with nothing. That is just what I did. The only thing we brought was our love and bond.

<div>How did I end up in Exton from Philadelphia? Moving in with Luca’s dad again was the immediate solution to ensure my safety and ability to be with my baby. I am grateful every day that this was a possibility. Since, I’ve depleted any savings and have been left to figure all of this out of my own as Alex recently lost his job. I’m doing the best I can with the salary of a server but saving is nearly impossible.

<div>My mother’s actions resulting in taking my life from me as I knew it, has led to destitution. We live day to day and I worry about necessities all while praying I also make enough to cover the hotel each day.

<div>As someone who is the fixer and has never asked for help in their life, I am reaching out heart in hand, to see if anyone can donate so that my angel boy and I can get an apartment and start over. I made an updated goal of $5000 to help with moving fees (first, last, security) and any remaining to use for Luca’s school, activities, therapists and additional moving costs that inevitably incur.

<div>My ideal outcome is to move back to the city by the end of September. I have a job ready to welcome me back, which will allow us to live again, not simply survive.

<div>I am a successful Drexel graduate and have so much drive. My son is the most empathetic, caring, patient, intuitive and curious little boy. I just want him to have a fair chance at life, and so for the first time in my life, I am saying that I need some help and I can’t do it alone.

<div>**update as of 11/3… we have moved into our new home but with Alex (Luca’s dad) job changing him to 1099 and eliminating salary &amp; benefits we are at a total loss as to how to pay rent or make basic ends meet between my paychecks, which aren’t enough to cover it all. I am so proud of Luca’s dad for agreeing to get help for his depression so that he can be his best and healthiest version of himself for us both. As he has been doordashing on a bike for daily necessities, with him gone I need help from my community more than ever. Please consider donating what you can or sharing so I can maintain stability for Luca and myself along with giving Alex peace of mind while he tackles his mental health. We can do this because we have the drive and the love!
