<div>My name is Ashley, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, Scott Everts.

<div>A few weeks ago, Scott experienced a sudden and serious medical emergency that led to an unexpected hospital stay. It all happened so quickly, and our family has been doing everything we can to support him during this incredibly difficult time. While we are grateful he is now on the road to recovery, that road is long — and it comes with many challenges, both physical and financial.

<div>Since his hospitalization, Scott has been unable to work, and with each passing week, the financial strain has grown. Medical bills, daily living expenses, and the cost of aftercare are starting to pile up. Recovery should be a time of rest and healing, but instead, it’s becoming a time filled with stress over how to stay afloat.

<div>I created this fundraiser to help relieve some of that burden and give Scott the time and space he needs to fully recover. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his medical bills, ongoing treatment, rent, food, and other essentials — things that no one should have to worry about while trying to get well.

<div>Scott has always been a steady presence in the lives of those around him — compassionate, generous, and grounded. He means so much to our family and to everyone who knows him. And right now, he needs a little help to get through this difficult chapter.
