Meet Toby, one of our many success stories. Toby was found in a state of severe malnutrition, to the point where he had started eating himself. After receiving medical care, proper nutrition, and lots of love, Toby has transformed into a beautiful, healthy dog. His story is a testament to the life-changing impact of our work.

UnPerroAlavez was founded in 2022 by my husband and me after we moved from the US to Mexico. Shocked by the sheer number of stray dogs in terrible health conditions, we decided to take action. We began by rescuing dogs one at a time, taking them to the vet, nursing them back to health, and finding them loving homes. This grassroots effort has grown, and we have helped over 150 dogs, driven by our passion and dedication to animal welfare using our own resources. Unfortunately, we need more resources to continue helping more dogs and cats in need.

Our Initiatives:

1. Free Neutering and Spaying Campaigns: These campaigns are crucial in controlling the stray dog population and preventing unwanted litters.

2. Medical Assistance: We provide necessary medical care to injured or sick dogs and cats, giving them a chance at a healthier life.

3. Fenced Backyards: We install cyclone mesh fences for families who cannot afford them, ensuring dogs are not tied to trees all day but have a safe and secure area to play and live.
