<div>Hometown Mutts &amp; Friends Inc was contacted recently regarding a group of Miniature Schnauzers that needed rescue. There was an 8-year-old female, Darcey, who has a mammary tumor and she is in dire need of dental care after having many litters of puppies over the years. She also needs to be spayed and she is just the sweetest dog who loves to run and play and she deserves to have her happily ever after.

<div>Hershey is a 7-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who is a small little fella in need of extensive dental care that ended with the removal of 14 teeth. He had not been eating as he should have been, but after his teeth no longer hurt, he became a hungry little chow hound. Hershey was neutered and given back to us for rest and rehabilitation. He has recovered and is doing great now. This little guy loves to play either outside or inside and he is a snuggle bunny with everyone he meets.

<div>Stormy is a 2-year-old Miniature Schnauzer who needed neutering and some TLC. Once his surgery had healed, he was let out for a potty break, and he was overcome with a big case of the zoomies. This dog will keep you laughing and he will be a great addition to any household.

<div>Along with the three dogs listed above, we took in four eight-month-old pups, all Miniature Schnauzers. There were three boys who needed neutering and shots, plus a small little girl who needed spaying and shots. All 4 puppies are doing great!

<div>This unexpected group of seven gorgeous Miniature Schnauzers has put a big drain on us financially. In addition to the veterinary costs mentioned above, every pet required de-matting and a full grooming and the costs for their care will increase until they are placed with their best match as determined by the adoption applications we receive.
