Hello, my name is Hunter! this fundraiser is being made by my girlfriend(Maeve) and I for our cat Lillith.

Here's the backstory; Maeve adopted Lillith off the street sometime around November 2024, Lillith is a cat she took in from off the street and nursed her back to health. Going from fleas and matted hair to a good weight and beautiful fur, a healthy kitty through and through within a year and an extreme help for my girlfriend going through a rough mental health patch. recently (a month and a half ago) we noticed her health has taken a turn and financially we cant keep up with it.

We noticed weight loss and her fur was losing quality and she wasn't taking care of herself.. we thought this would go away with extra attention we gave her (taking note of grooming habits, eating habits, food and water) along with not grooming much she laid around the apartment more and would sleep longer than usual.

On the 30th of October we took her to the emergency vet after noticing blood in her stool when she had an accident in the kitchen. We spent $827, owe $100 more, that was originally $1017 and it was going to be more but the doctor had helped her and didnt charge us for the iv and antibiotics, God bless this man. He said he was concerned for her and he respects what we're trying to do for her and he really wants to do what he can to help even though his hands are tied.

Heres what we know.
We got physical exam done, blood work done, an ultrasound and an x-ray.

Through the checkups the weight has gone from 8 pounds, measured 4 months ago at a checkup, 6 pounds 2 weeks ago and now 4 pounds since the visit to emergency vet.

Through the physical and ultrasound we understand there is something hard in her intestine.
What it is or the cause is unknown. We are not sure if its a foreign body or her intestines themselves.

Her blood work came back good! The main things they have tested for were feline leukemia, FIV, liver and kidney issues.
She tested negative for both and theres no liver or kinder problems, her blood work is not entirely out of the norm for a cat thats sick, the idea was to understand if she could be a good candidate for surgery. Which she is!

Here's the plan!

While we are not able to fully financially provide for her i will not give up the fight and put her down just because its easier.

Surgery has been estimated at $600-800, we will be shooting for that and then $1,500 to cover extra costs of treatments. I want to do more ultrasounds to understand what it may be before starting a surgery(we've been told exploratory surgery might be the way to go).

What we're doing for now.

We have been gifted dietary supplements, probiotics and prebiotics we are now mixing into her food as well as trying to change her food to something a bit more filling and especially using soft food to fill her belly more.

For the past few days she has been walking around well, her stools are consistent and not diarrhea in consistency. She eats without help and especially when we give soft food.
She has decent energy again but she doesn't seem to want to drink water at least not when we watch.

We're trying to do what we can to make her more comfortable and prolonge anything while we try to get money going thats why we are asking for help before anything is too late.

Please donate what you can, Lillith is genuinely in need your help. Everything is appreciated. Thank you.
