<div>We are reaching out to all of you in the hopes of helping our sister, Sarah Benjamin, who is struggling physically, financially and emotionally after a medical procedure left her with a severed nerve and the possibility of life with an ostomy bag.

<div>Over the past two and half years, Sarah has undergone 2 major surgeries to address serious urinary and colon health issues caused by a caudia equnia nerve being severed during a back fusion procedure.

<div>All of this has led to serious complications that require ongoing testing and medical care along with piles of medical bills. To address these complications and improve her quality of life, Sarah now requires a third, crucial surgery. Sadly, due to a mistake by Cobra insurance, Sarah lost the only health insurance that would have covered the $12,000 surgery. Without this surgery Sarah's only option is to have her colon removed and live with an ostomy bag.
