<div>Hi, I’m Trevene, and recently my family encountered one of the most catastrophic disasters in Jamaican history when <strong>Hurricane Melissa hit the southwest and northwest parts of the island.</strong> Several members of my family have been affected, and it’s an overwhelming task to be the one everyone is turning to for help. Montego Bay was hit from every angle and spared no mercy.

<div>My mother and one nephew’s house was completely destroyed, and my sister’s place of business was completely destroyed, leaving her with no means to regroup and take care of her family. Other family members and close friends were also severely affected. <strong>I am turning to you to seek help as my family tries to navigate this disaster and look to the future.</strong> Any donations received will aid in helping my family regain basic items such as bedding, clothing, food, water, water tanks, and generators, as well as other necessities.
