Donate to Repair Sandy's Essential Vehicle

Hello all. For those who don't know me, I'm Sandy Gates. I live in SW Colorado. I have always made helping others a priority in life. In 2020 I started a food bank with a friend in Western North Carolina. We collected donations, bought food and supplies and helped 14 families. I assist the homeless, animals, and strangers too. When Hurricane Helene hit my Western North Carolina people, I jumped in my car, drove across the country and volunteered in 5 counties. I wanted to stay longer but winter weather was approaching fast in the Rockies. I drove a total of 3674 miles and made it home safely. Sadly, my trusty 2012 Explorer could do no more. I have been carless for 5 weeks. My car is now in the shop with major repairs needed. I am a produce farmer. My season has ended. I spent the last of my farm income to get to NC. I will gladly get a job when my car is fixed. Thank you for your time and consideration. Peace.
