<div>This young person has overcome the unimaginable this year -- loss of their parents to drug addiction and homelessness. The brutal and undeserved circumstances they've faced are something we would never stomach our own children going through.

<div>Earlier this summer, a driver hit this person's vehicle, deeming it totaled. While this person is completely financially independent, the insurance company cut a check for the totaled car to their parents. Unfortunately, the parents used the money to fund their addictions.

<div>As for me, I've been this person's confident and cheerleader during the traumatic events of this past year. I'm raising money to not only provide them a car in time for college, but to in some small way help right the wrongs suffered by someone who has shown great inner strength in the midst of repeated loss.
