Hi, I am Vishnu Ramsamy (Vish). I have overcome many obstacles and challenges due to chronic illness and disability. I faced multiple setbacks since suffering multi-organ failure in 2003 which resulted in numerous surgeries, strokes, infections, and ongoing complications. Despite all I have endured, I have not given up. Just recently, my eye doctor diagnosed me with a vitreous hemorrhage in my left eye. That is bleeding, causing my vision in the eye to deteriorate. I need to have a laser procedure to help stop the bleeding, followed by a vitrectomy surgery to prevent blindness in my eye. The average cost for the surgery ranges from $8000 to $14000. My current medical insurance does not cover eye care since I prioritized my chronic issues and couldn't afford additional coverage. I am asking and appealing for your help to raise the funds needed to save my eye. I understand that many of us are experiencing financial hardships.
