<div>My name is Angeles Parada, and I’m writing this on behalf of my mother, Mauisa Parada, who was recently diagnosed with Stage Four Colon Cancer with metastasis in her liver.

<div>This has been devastating news for our family. My mom has been my partner since I been a child. We have faced countless struggles together and we will continue to do so. My mom has been an inspiration not only to me, but to countless others that have crossed paths with her.

<div>She’s facing the hardest battle of her life, and we want to do everything we can to help her get the care she needs.
</div>
<div>Her doctors have recommended specialized treatments that require frequent travel and significant medical expenses in New York City. Between appointments, hospital stays, medications, and transportation costs, the financial burden has quickly become overwhelming for our family.

<div>I’m creating this GoFundMe to help cover medical bills, travel expenses, and ongoing treatment costs so my mom can focus on healing instead of worrying about finances, and I can be there by her side every step of the way.

<div>Mi nombre es Angeles Parada, y escribo esto en nombre de mi mamá, Mauisa Parada, quien fue diagnosticada recientemente con cáncer de colon en etapa cuatro con metástasis en el hígado.

<div>Esta noticia ha sido un golpe muy duro para nuestra familia. Mi mamá ha sido mi compañera de vida desde que tengo memoria. Juntas hemos pasado por muchas luchas y dificultades, y esta no será la excepción. Ella es una mujer increíble, llena de fortaleza y amor. Es una verdadera inspiración no solo para mí, sino también para todas las personas que la verdaderamente la conocen.

<div>Ahora está enfrentando la batalla más grande de su vida, y queremos hacer todo lo posible para que reciba el tratamiento y los cuidados que necesita.

<div>Los médicos han recomendado tratamientos especializados que requieren viajar con frecuencia y cubrir gastos médicos bastante altos en Nueva York. Entre citas, hospitalizaciones, medicamentos y transporte, los costos se han vuelto muy difíciles de manejar para nosotros.

<div>Por eso estoy creando este GoFundMe, para ayudar a cubrir los gastos médicos, de viaje y de tratamiento, y así mi mamá pueda concentrarse en su recuperación sin preocuparse por las finanzas. Yo quiero acompañarla en cada paso de este camino y asegurarme de que reciba todo el apoyo posible.
