<div>Our beloved Mark Deangelo, a devoted husband, father of two, sole provider of 6, and loving friend, has been struck by a devastating accident that has changed his life forever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On August 20th, Mark was knocked from a height of 55 feet while working to remove a tree canopy that was at risk of falling on somebody’s home, resulting in critical injuries, including multiple spinal fractures, two collapsed lungs, 6 broken ribs, and a concussion.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Tragically, the severe damage to his spinal cord has left him paralyzed from the waist down.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mark’s defining quality is his commitment to serving others. Many know Mark through his service, as a hardworking and generous man who eagerly offered to shoulder any burden out of genuine love for his community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mark now finds himself in need of the same support he has selflessly offered others as he embarks on this long and difficult journey towards recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>**Why We Need Your Help:**
</div>
<div>Devastatingly, we’ve been informed that <strong>nearly all medical expenses will need to be covered out of Mark’s own pocket!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition to the heroic life-saving surgery performed on the night of the accident, Mark will require extensive corrective surgeries, followed by years of intense rehabilitation and physical therapy. The path to recovery will be the greatest challenge of Mark’s life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This accident has not only taken away Mark’s ability to work but also threatens his ability to care for his family—the people he loves most. Mark’s life has been irrevocably changed in an instant, and now he needs our help to rebuild it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition to the urgent life-saving care he has received, Mark will need long-term assistance to adapt to his new life, including:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>**Home Modifications:** Mark’s home needs significant alterations to become wheelchair accessible. This includes installing ramps, widening doorways, and creating an accessible bathroom. These modifications are expected to cost between <strong>$20,000</strong> and <strong>$50,000</strong>.
</div>
<div>**Specialized Equipment:** Mark will require a custom wheelchair, adaptive equipment to assist with daily tasks, and possibly a vehicle equipped with hand controls. The cost of this specialized equipment is estimated at <strong>$25,000</strong> to <strong>$100,000</strong>.
</div>
<div>**Ongoing Rehabilitation:** Mark’s recovery will be a lifetime commitment, involving continuous medical treatments, physical therapy, and additional corrective surgeries. The cost for these critical services could range from <strong>$60,000</strong> to in excess of <strong>$250,000</strong>.
</div>
<div>**Daily Living Assistance:** In the early stages of his recovery, Mark will need help with daily tasks, which will require hiring home health aides. The annual cost for this assistance is estimated to be between <strong>$30,000</strong> and <strong>$70,000</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, these expenses will exceed <strong>$350,000</strong>—a staggering amount that no family can easily bear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>**How You Can Help:**
</div>
<div>Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact to the Deangelo family and help alleviate the financial burden that comes with such a life-altering accident.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>**<strong>$50</strong>** could help cover the cost of a physical therapy session.
</div>
<div>**<strong>$100</strong>** could contribute to the purchase of specialized medical equipment.
</div>
<div>**<strong>$500</strong>** could assist with home modifications to make it wheelchair accessible.
</div>
<div>**<strong>$1,000</strong>** could help fund Mark’s ongoing medical treatments and rehabilitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our total goal represents the beginning of a lifetime of recovery, and is a shocking reality that many families share. Any amount will help on this journey. We are deeply grateful for any contribution you can make - even a few dollars will make a difference.
</div>

</div>

</div>
<div>**A Message from the Deangelo Family:**
</div>
<div>Mark has always been the rock of our family as a devoted husband and father, and an unfailing source of strength and stability. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we reach out, knowing that we cannot do this alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your compassion, your prayers, and your contributions are not just a financial lifeline—they are a testament to the love and support that surround us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are humbled by the kindness shown to our family, and reminded that even in our darkest hours, we are not alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We cannot express the depth of our gratitude to anybody who joins us in showing Mark the selfless support that he has always shown others.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts,
</div>
<div>Thank You.
