<div>Lift Coffee Bar is a small, locally-owned coffee shop in Tahlequah, OK. We have been open for 5 years now and thoroughly love being a part of our community.

<div><strong>Lift’s building was hit by a truck on Sunday, Oct 27, 2024, at 2 AM as the local bars were closing.</strong> The driver left the scene, leaving a hole in our kitchen wall and enough damage to shut our business down for at least 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.

<div>The purpose of this GoFundMe is purely for our Lift family, 17 staff members. They certainly can’t afford to go 2 weeks without pay. We are hoping to raise enough so they won’t be impacted by this financially. Our staff has loyally stuck with us. Our GM, Jarrod, and Assistant Manager, Andrew, have been with us since the beginning 5 years ago. Our Kitchen Manager, Lydia, has been with us for 4 1/2 years. And the majority of the staff has been with us for multiple years. We work hard to create a good, enjoyable work environment that has helped us retain these valuable members for so long.

<div>The business is pouring money into the repairs to get back open as soon as possible, and we have no idea when insurance claims will help us cushion our losses as well as the daily losses in sales. We know that the staff still have daily expenses such as bills, groceries, and rent. They can’t afford to wait till we receive anything from this case.
