<div>On July 22nd, our beloved Leah was rushed to the ER after suffering a brain bleed caused by an AVM (arteriovenous malformation). Leah has been in a coma since, and her journey has been filled with challenges, small victories, and the unwavering presence of God’s grace.

<div>Leah is more than this diagnosis. She is a vibrant, soulful woman who loves music, dance, children, her family, and most of all—her Lord and Savior. Her heart beats in rhythm with worship, and she has always carried a gift of bringing joy and light into the lives of everyone who knows her. Leah loves deeply, prays fiercely, and believes with all her soul that God’s got this.

<div>Many may remember Leah’s first battle with this condition at just 14 years old, when her AVM ruptured for the first time. Through the amazing care at Children’s Hospital, she made it through and continued to live a life full of faith, love, and joy. This summer, however, her AVM ruptured again.
</div>

</div>
<div>She immediately underwent a craniectomy to relieve the pressure in her brain, and since then she has been in the ICU. Doctors continue to monitor her progress as her brain works to heal, but the road is long and uncertain. Removing the AVM is very dangerous due to its location, so right now we rely on time, medicine, and most importantly—prayer.

<div>8/19: Complications with cerebral fluid drainage—asking for prayers that her doctors find the right solution so her brain can heal.

</div>
<div>8/11: Leah was briefly off the respirator, but due to difficulties, it had to be turned back on. Bleeding has improved, but fluid drainage remains a challenge. Surgery is being planned for an AP stent.

<div>8/3: Leah opened her eyes and tried to communicate! Despite infections and pneumonia from treatment, she is fighting hard.

<div>7/29: CT scan showed improvement. Slow but steady progress.
</div>

</div>
<div>7/23–7/25: Lots of love pouring in, but Leah remains in ICU where she needs rest and quiet for her brain to heal. The best gift anyone can give right now is prayer.
