<div>I am reaching out to everyone in hopes of raising direly needed funds for my sister, <strong>Laurie</strong>, and her journey to wellness.

<div><strong>Laurie’s health has declined and she has lung, liver, several autoimmune diagnoses, and other health issues that have escalated with Long Covid. This life-stealing disease has been relentless since 2022.</strong> She has managed to work until recently; in August, she could no longer keep up.  She was forced to leave a job she enjoyed, because of extreme exhaustion and breathing difficulties.

<div>  Any assistance from her wonderful friends, family, and community will be used to help pay for<strong> health insurance, transportation to and from the many monthly Medical Specialty appointments, and medications that she needs for survival.  </strong>

<div>I know that Laurie has been a driving force in the community, donating her time, effort, and abilities to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House, and performs random acts of kindness more often than most of us even know about.  She has a huge heart for children and the elderly, being a beacon of light to so many of the patients she served with a kind heart, advocacy, and truly loved them all!
