<div>Kiersten Wildeboer known to many as “Coach W” has dedicated her life to helping others. Throughout her 30+ years of service in the New Hanover County School System, Kiersten provided warmth, love, and compassion to her students and coworkers. A true woman of God with a servant’s heart, she is a shining light to all that know her. In 2010, Kiersten courageously battled Breast Cancer and Leukemia in 2011, she ultimately triumphed. Unfortunately in May of this year, Kiersten was informed that her cancer had returned in an aggressive form. With great courage and support from her loving family, Kiersten underwent a double mastectomy in June of 2025. Shortly after surgery, Kiersten suffered a setback and now must undergo an additional surgery for an infection that has developed. The Wildeboer family humbly asks for any assistance that can be provided to help with Kiersten’s accumulating medical bills. Coach Wildeboer has dedicated so much of her life to helping others, please consider donating to help our matriarch, mother, and grandmother continue her courageous battle .
