<div>Last week, Kevin suffered a serious accident while he was painting. He fell from the roof of a house, resulting in a broken left ankle. He was doing difficult and honest work—painting the side woods of the roof—when the unexpected happened.

<div>The doctors have told us that his recovery will be long. He cannot put any weight on his ankle for at least two months, and he won't be able to return to his labor job for even longer. For someone like Kevin, who relies on his physical strength and mobility to work and provide for himself, this is a devastating blow.

<div>While we are thankful his injuries weren't even worse, we are now facing a difficult reality. With no ability to work, he has no income to cover his monthly rent, utilities, and other essential bills.

<div>Kevin is the hardest-working and most independent person I know, and it's heartbreaking for him to be in this position.
</div>
