Hello, as many of you are aware Kenneth has an autoimmune disease (Lupus), diagnosed when he was 25 and has fought a long battle with it since. Kenneth has been a music educator for 12 years, his passion is teaching in lower socioeconomic title one districts where he not only creates a love for band within his students, but he also sets lifelong skills as a priority to help students be successful adults! He has accumulated multiple awards and recognitions such as, a two time Grammy Music Educator Semifinalist, Cotton Patch National Hero Award Winner, Numerous Sweepstakes, Area Marching appearances, OPS State recognitions and a State Marching Band appearance in band programs that others would overlook, such as Ralls and Estacado. He is a father of 3, beautiful kids Miles, Hendrix and Marley, who he would go to the ends of the world for! Ken had his initial transplant in 2019 and with Kenneth's recent hospitalization and ICU stay we have learned from the physicians that he will need to be placed on the Kidney transplant list once again. The scar tissue in the transplanted kidney has become too much for the kidney itself. We all know that life outside of our tribulations does not stop for anyone and with that being said we would be open to any help that you are willing to give. We are trying to be prepared in the event that something hit unexpectedly so that we can be somewhat prepared and the transplant process doesn't get prolonged, also so that everyday bills don't fall behind. We are very grateful for your continued thought's and prayers. We know that God is in control and that this will be an addition to his testimony. This man truly gives his whole heart to his family and all of his students! Any funds that are not used or exceed what is needed will be donated to the Estacado Band program!
