<div>I am Lauranette Lewellen, Kelsey Wells’s Big Grandma. I met Kelsey when she was 2 and fell in love with her right away. She has had a hard life. She had a daughter who is now 9. A few years ago, she had a baby girl who only lived 10 days. Then she was 7.5 months pregnant when she discovered she had breast cancer. The doctor wanted to take the baby so Kelsey could start chemotherapy. The baby’s due date was 10-12-2021, but he was taken 8-31-2021, and Kelsey started breast cancer treatment. She had her breasts removed and tubes tied because the doctor said she should never get pregnant again. She had breast replacement surgery and 14 long months of chemo. The week of her son’s 3rd birthday, she found out the cancer had come back. The doctors still called it breast cancer because it came from the underlying tissue. Kelsey had 3 tumors on one side of her neck and 2 tumors on the other side in her lymph nodes. She has tumors all over on her liver. She has cancer in her lungs and in the bones in the small of her back.

<div>Kelsey had to quit her job because of all her doctor’s appointments. She is on 2 oral cancer treatments plus fusion to try to keep the cancer from going to her brain. She is sick most of the time. <strong>How much time she has depends on God.</strong> She is a born-again Christian, but she needs money to support her children and pay her car payment.
