<div>I generally hate having to ask for help like this, especially since it always tends to feel like so much of this is my fault, but I'm at the end of my rope and I don't know if I can manage without some more major form of assistance, so here we are. I've hit a point where <strong>my debt is more than I can handle alone</strong>, and short of tearing myself apart with more work than I am capable of, I instead feel that it's time to try asking for more serious donation assistance.

<div>I live with an immunocompromised roommate, who cannot work and that I help take care of. We'd originally been receiving assistance and housing from her father, which helped me to become financially stable and maintain a small emergency fund for situations like the one I'm now in. Unfortunately, her father passed away, and her mother, rather than listen to our requests to offer rent money for the home, forced us to move out, effectively erasing my nest egg and placing us in several thousand dollars in debt between moving costs, security deposits, and emergency bills throughout our apartment lease I struggled to keep up with without a fallback.

<div>We finally managed to reach an agreement to move back into the home a year and a half later, but the damage has been done and now my interest costs are too much, even with supplemental income from plasma donation and budgeting to reduce my spending elsewhere. To make matters worse, a medical emergency involving an impacted tooth and infection required me to go to a dentist, which is now a $2500 expense due to my insurance erroneously telling me the practice was in network when it was not.

<div>I will be calling to dispute this, but it does not change the fact that<strong> </strong>I am facing an amount of debt I cannot face alone, and I need help to avoid spiralling too far out of control and being unable to pay for housing. Any amount raised will go straight to paying down credit debt and the aforementioned dental expenses, with any excess beyond that going towards other bills and potentially savings once the immediate concerns are over and done with.

<div>If you cannot donate, please share this drive around with any and all you think might be willing to help—that alone helps tremendously. My total goal is around $7000, just to get me back to a manageable amount of debt, at which point I will endeavor to make things work. I don't expect to make this goal through donations alone, but every little bit helps me be just that extra bit more solvent, and lets me focus my efforts on budgeting and monthly bills.
