Did you know that while most local nonprofits only serve the unhoused folks within the Kingston City School District at a few hotels..

Ulster County Mutual Aid is a grassroots group that serves families in all 14 hotels that DSS places families... as far as Greene County!!

Help Us Get a Car for the CommUNITY!

We are down 2 cars!!

Right now, neighbors are going without because we don’t have reliable transportation to keep mutual aid moving. A simple car can make a HUGE difference in our community:

* Delivering donated food so it doesn’t go to waste

* Getting unhoused families to the laundromat

* Giving rides to doctor’s appointments

* Helping folks reach food pantries and essential services

Every dollar brings us closer to having a car that will serve as a rolling lifeline for our neighbors. Mutual aid is about showing up for each other when the systems fail us—and transportation is one of the biggest barriers.

We’re asking for your help to make this possible. Together, we can keep food, dignity, and hope moving through our community.
