The Pachamama Project is raising money to provide reusable period pads and menstrual and reproductive health education to girls who are missing school because of period poverty. 100 million girls worldwide are out of school for reasons including period poverty which has major implications on their futures as they miss out on qualifications, knowledge and opportunities.
Just £10 gets a pack of pads that lasts five years to a girl in school - seeing her through to the end of her secondary education. Any amount you can donate will be hugely appreciated.
To date The Pachamama Project has made over 180,000 pads and supported over 20,000 women, girls and people who menstruate out of period poverty. But with 500 million people struggling to access period products worldwide, we have a lot more to do!
