Hi, my name is Angel and starting this has been an interesting process for me. You never know how strong you need to be until you're forced to be. I honestly never thought I'd be in this situation. I was homeless for many, many years before being stable. It was a difficult time; sleeping on couches, in stairwells, while fighting depression and suicidal thoughts was a lot. And I've fought hard not to be in that mental headspace again. Yet here I am. I'm going through a financially difficult time and while I am doing better, it's been difficult to pull myself from the rubble of rock bottom. For 5 years I've been working toward my dream of becoming a licensed Barber and Aesthetician. June 13, 2026, l'm set to graduate. But 2024 and 2025 has been fraught with difficulty after difficulty.. I lost my beloved emotional support pup, then my Aunt and not far after I lost my little sister to suicide due to post partum depression and financial stress and strain. All of that is putting my graduation, my housing and my emotional well-being at jeopardy. As a disabled person with a significant chronic health/heart issue, being unable to pay my rent and becoming homeless would devastate everything I've worked toward over the last decade. Can you help me achieve my goals of 1. Graduating my Barber program 2. Securing my housing 3. Increasing my access to food. . My ultimate goal and need between now and July 2026 is $4k.. Thank you for your considerations.
