<div>I'm Alison, a 41-year-old trans woman living in the D.C. area. At the end of last year, <strong>I lost my job that had been very self-sustaining for my finances.</strong> For 4 months, I was unemployed, and in April, I finally managed to get a part-time job to try and regain footing. However, because I'm no longer making enough, <strong>I'm in dire need of money to just keep myself stable mentally and emotionally.</strong> As of writing this, I'm 2 and a half months behind on rent (for a total of about $4400), and if not for the kindness of folks like you donating, I'd be even farther behind.

<div>I had a previous fundraiser going while I was out of work, but since then, a couple of things have improved (like getting my current part-time job and taking on my new name of Alison). I am still lacking financially, and it has constantly been causing me stress, as well as causing my depression and anxiety to constantly skyrocket.
