I do my best to always be there for other people. I'm on a fixed income with very little left over after paying my bills. The transmission on my only car is going out and once it does, I won't have a way to get to the doctor or pharmacy. I hate asking for help, but I'm out of options. I have no family or friends that can help me come up with money to fix the transmission, with the cheapest fix being at least $2000.
