<div>My name is Kayla McCann, and I am a senior at Northeastern University. I am studying nursing with a minor in Spanish, and I will commission this upcoming May as a Second Lieutenant Army Officer through Northeastern's ROTC program. I graduated as a member of the Class of 2020 at Hopkinton High School. I am fundraising money to support and run the Boston Marathon for my 3rd time for the Canty's Underdog Scholarship Fund. I ran my first Boston Marathon in 2020 and again in 2022 for the same fund. This scholarship will provide assistance for deserving, unrecognized students of Hopkinton High School, Hopkinton, MA.

<div>Brad Canty was an important part of the Hopkinton Community. Brad was a loyal, kind, and caring individual who was always putting his friends and family before himself. Brad was an energetic participant on the Hopkinton Swim and Dive team, where a lot of students got to know him most, including myself. Despite having to fight ongoing gastrointestinal disorders, he did not let the illness negatively impact his life.
