Medical and financial bills help as she fights Multiple Sclerosis and Cancer diagnosis November 2024

FROM KATHY LACY GLENN

"I was driving in to work around the middle part of October on busy hwy 6...I was close to a red light and I couldn't locate or rather feel my brake. I kept trying to feel it and figuring it out, but I couldn't. I started praying asking God to help me to find my brake in order to stop, and thankfully He heard my cry. I was able to stop, but still in a panic because I didn't know what was happening. So I commenced on, and I thought all was okay and it started happening again. I started praying again - crying - and in a serious panic. So I kept looking down at my feet and couldn't understand what was going on. I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to put my hazard lights on because I was driving real slow and people are not kind when you're not driving the speed limit. I found a strip center and parked for a bit while continuing with prayer. After sitting for couple of minutes, I pulled back out on the road. Same thing started happening again...found another parking lot and parked. I prayed some more and this time I pleaded with God to just help me get to my destination and He did just that without any further issues with panicking. To explain how my leg feeling - it felt like it was paralyzed and that was why I couldn't feel my brake. (I actually haven't driven since...)

I called my PCP and told her what happened, and she advised me to go to the Urgent Care, My daughter took me to the ER and they ran all these tests on me but couldn't find anything. They put me in a room because my blood pressure was sky high 222/118 and they couldn't get it down. They performed a MRI when they initially ran test, but a Neurologist came in the room talking to me trying to figure out what was wrong with me and I told him what brought me to the ER in the first place (as far as me not being able to feel my brake)...so he had me have another MRI but he wanted to look closer at my brain. So went back up, and they told me that I had multiple sclerosis. After Thanksgiving I was given the cancer diagnosis.I have a history of breast cancer in my family.
So the Multiple Sclerosis "AND" the cancer diagnosis were both diagnosed within the month of November...
am

I have my surgery on this Friday the 24th...

I haven't worked since mid October. They didn't offer 401K or retirement. January 2025 I reached the age limit that I can begin to receive Social Security.

And this is my honest to God story. Sorry I gave every detail, but it happened just like that...'
