As most of you know, I am currently fighting stage 3 Triple Negative Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). I’m working as much and as long as I physically can, but I know that there’s gonna come a time in the near future where I will no longer be able to work safely. I’m not one to ever ask for help, I’m always on the other end giving help to who and where I can. The drs have explained to me that due to treatment and what I do for work that it’s not the best situation.

Due to an extensive treatment plan—1 every week for 12 weeks, then 1 every 3 weeks for 12 weeks, then surgery, then radiation—my doctor said during treatment, working can be dangerous because of infection and my immune system being compromised. That a simple cold could be life threatening to me. That working in a busy restaurant and touching money is not ideal.

My car is actually broken down right now, and I can’t afford to fix it. I need to have a reliable means of transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and treatments. I’m so scared that I’m going to lose everything I’ve worked so hard to get and to keep. I have a long road ahead of me. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
