Hi everyone, my name is Isaiah L., and I'm the inaugural president at a college preparatory boarding school. I've been blessed to be accepted into several amazing colleges already, and many of the schools on my list are right in New York City — including Columbia University, NYU, Pace University, and Fordham University.

This winter, I have the incredible opportunity to lead a few students in my senior class on a trip to New York City from December 7th–11th. Our goal is to explore these universities up close, experience the energy of the city, and gain a true feel for the place that could shape our futures. We also plan to visit some of New York's most historic landmarks, like Grand Central Terminal, and experience the culture and diversity that make the city so special.

However, as you may know, New York is very expensive during the winter. We're working hard to cover costs, but the expenses for airfare, hotel, transportation, and meals add up quickly.
